AOG Buyer

As AOG buyer you will be the part of Aeroplex AOG Team – based in Budapest – providing 24/7 logistics services to its contracted partners and responsible to manage critical aircraft material, part, tool requirements including purchase, sale, loan, borrow or exchange.

Contract type and duty time: Full-time contract for an indefinite period
Work schedule: shift (12 hours daily shift; 12 hours night shift // 2 days on – 2 days off)

Detailed responsibilities:

  • You will be the main contact to provide prompt and precise solution for all AOG and critical aircraft material requests
  • Sourcing of aircraft parts, materials with using all available strategical, tactical, operative purchasing tools
  • Prepare quotations to the customers including all relevant information
  • Manage transfer activity to deliver requested parts to the aircraft from BUD Stock
  • Ensure continous comminication flow by followup activity between the Customer and responsible departments
  • Seamless co-operation with partner (airline) maintenance or purchasing department to support daily operational activity
  • Coordinate in-house and external supply chain activity in order to avoid any interruption of the AOG process and reducing ground times of aircraft
  • Support base maintenance AOG material requirements
  • Manage AOG customs clearing
  • Submit offers against ad-hoc material requirements
  • Responsible for surplus inventory sale
  • Complaint management

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Supply chain or Business Administration
  • A minimum 2 years working experience in the areas of purchasing, sourcing, material management or supply chain (airline or automative industry experiences will be advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to make decisions under stressful situation
  • Required to meet deadlines, must be comfortable prioritizing tasks, demonstrate flexibility, display a strong work ethic, and sense of urgency
  • Strong organization, multitask handling skill
  • Highly motivate stress resistance and result oriented personality
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent English both verbal and written
  • Strong MS Office knowledge
